This week we are very lucky to have two LJMU students from Media and Cultural Studies and Sociology, Jade Mayers and Roisin Prendergast, starting their summer placements with us. Each year, LJMU funds a number of curriculum enhancement internships which contribute to teaching and learning. In Special Collections and Archives we tend to focus on developing materials from the collections which can then be used by academic staff in various ways in a range of different modules. Jade and Roisin will be working on our 19th Century Periodicals Collection and will write weekly blog posts to report on their progress.
