Special Collections & Archives have loaned around 30 magazines to an exhibition curated by Bee Hughes, lecturer and PhD researcher at Liverpool School of Art & Design in the John Lennon Art & Design Building.

‘The Periodical Exhibition’ presents period stigma smashing and celebratory artworks in the Atrium Gallery.  Come and see menstrual artworks by Bee Hughes, research photographs, and material from LJMU Special Collections & Archives.

The exhibition is part of the Being Human Festival, and runs from 15-24 November, including an informal fun day of craftivism, chat and a homeless period packing party on Saturday 17th November, and a #periodpositive comedy show by Chella Quint on Friday 16th November at The Casa.
