LJMU Special Collections & Archives have catalogued all of our Special Collections 18th and 19th Century periodicals, excluding those found in the Liddell Hart Collection of Costume and Peter Farrer’s papers. This will improve access to the collection, knowledge about the collection to members of the public, and includes more detailed information not previously recorded.

Sally Marquiss has been busy over the last year auditing and cataloguing our entire Special Collections (which means rare publications, not original archive material!) holdings and this is the first of many new catalogues to come. Whilst we have also audited many of the 20th Century magazines, the full catalogue will be released at a later date.
